MELBOURNE FOOD AND WINE
From March 12 to 23 about
300,000 foodies are expected to
make their way to the city for the
2010 Melbourne Food and Wine
Festival --- Australia's internationally
acclaimed celebration of food and
wine. Each year this festival attracts
global chefs and winemakers.
There are more than 250 events
in Melbourne and across Victoria.

There will be three weeks of laughs
from March 24 until April 18 at the
Melbourne Town Hall and various
venues around Melbourne. This
year's Melbourne International
Comedy Festival will get off to, not
one, but two bangs --- The Gala and
then The Opening Night Allstars
Speccy Comedy Supershow.
With a huge line-up of international
and local comedians, and even
a range of free performances,
everyone will have something to

AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX
Set in the grounds of the pic-
turesque Albert Park, the 2010
formula one Australian Grand
Prix --- from March 25 to 28 --- will
offer an action-packed itinerary of
on-track and off-track activities for
racing enthusiasts of all ages.
One of the country's premier sport-
ing events, it attracts the fastest
men in the world, with some of the
cars ever made, reaching speeds of
more than 300 kilometres per hour.
